About Taunton School

Taunton School was founded by Alfy Porter, the Chief Executive Officer of the Taunton Group and the current Headteacher of Taunton School, on 1st October 2024. Operations officially began the following day, 2nd October 2024, marking the start of a thriving roleplay and educational community on Roblox.

The school officially launched its Version 1 campus in late January 2025, providing students and staff with a fully immersive environment to explore, learn, and engage in roleplay. From these early days, Taunton School has grown into a vibrant and active community, attracting numerous staff members—some of whom have been with the school since its very first day of operations. Their dedication and commitment have been instrumental in shaping the school’s culture and fostering a welcoming, supportive environment for all participants.

Taunton School’s mission is to provide an enhanced roleplay experience while offering a high level of education. Every aspect of the school, from classes and events to clubs and student-led activities, is designed to combine creativity, interactivity, and structured learning. This balance allows students to enjoy immersive storytelling and social experiences while developing leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Looking to the future, Alfy Porter envisions Taunton School expanding further to accommodate a growing number of students, allowing even more participants to join the community and experience everything the school has to offer.
